  1. Thank you for trying out the Info Meter.

  3. It should operate on any X86 machine that can run Windows.
  4. (including Win95)
  5.  
  6. It was written in VB 4.0.
  7.  
  8. Just unzip the infomtr.zip file and run the setup program.
  9. You require all of the runtime files associated with VB4.0.
  10. To include them here would have made for an excessive download.

  14. Now that you've installed the product, I hope you
  15. find it useful.

  17. Clicking the buttons will perform the following:
  18.  
  19. Button    Action
  20.  
  21.   C    Closes the Info Meter.
  22.   O     Set some options
  23.   S    Show some other System Information.  
  24.   H    Displays a legend for the buttons.
  25.   X    Exits and Restarts Windows.
  26.   R    Exits and Reboots the system.
  27.   A    Shows the vanity screen.

  30. The functionality of this program is in no way
  31. inhibited, but (there is always a 'but') I would
  32. appreciate a 'donation' of $20 (or whatever you
  33. feel is appropriate) so that I can continue making
  34. enhancements to this product or create entirely
  35. new future products.
